Ghanaians Have Voted for Change – Sammy Gyamfi Declares NDC Victory

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has confidently declared victory in Ghana’s 2024 general election. Sammy Gyamfi, the party’s National Communications Officer, described the result as a “resounding triumph” that marks a turning point for the nation.
Speaking at a press conference on Sunday, December 8, Gyamfi expressed gratitude to Ghanaians for their overwhelming support. He emphasized that the party’s declaration is based on verified data collected from polling stations across the country.
“The NDC has secured copies of pink sheets from our agents at all polling stations, and these confirm our victory in both the presidential and parliamentary elections,” Gyamfi stated.
He attributed the outcome to Ghanaians’ rejection of what he described as eight years of governance marred by corruption, incompetence, nepotism, cronyism, and arrogance.
“From the results we’ve collated internally, it is clear that Ghanaians have said ‘no’ to eight years of state capture, waste, and insensitivity. They have chosen the NDC to lead the way forward,” he said.
Gyamfi also urged the public to remain calm and patient as the party awaits the official announcement from the Electoral Commission. He expressed confidence that the Commission would respect the will of the people and reflect the results accurately.
The NDC’s declaration underscores the party’s readiness to embrace its mandate, as it awaits formal confirmation of the election outcome.
