Okudzeto Ablakwa: NPP Will Show Greater Respect to Ghanaians After 2024 Elections

Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Member of Parliament for North Tongu in the Volta Region, has expressed optimism that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) will exhibit greater respect, recognition, and regard for Ghanaians following the 2024 general election.

According to Ablakwa, Ghanaians deserve respect that reflects their cultural heritage, political rights, and societal contributions. He emphasized the need for governance that prioritizes the opinions, needs, and welfare of the people.

Sharing his thoughts on his X account (formerly Twitter) on December 7, 2024, at 10:48 p.m., he stated, “The NPP will accord Ghanaians more respect after tonight. For now, greater vigilance, please.”

He urged Ghanaians to remain vigilant during the election process and safeguard their victory. Ablakwa also called for a commitment to transformative governance, adding, “Let’s do all in our power to protect the victory of the Ghanaian people and resolve to be different in government.”

His remarks underscore the importance of political accountability and a renewed focus on people-centered leadership in Ghana.
