Sammy Gyamfi Urges NDC Supporters to Protect Votes at Collation Centers

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged its supporters to stay vigilant and safeguard the integrity of the electoral process as vote collation continues following the just-ended general elections.
Addressing a press conference on behalf of the party’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, National Communications Officer Sammy Gyamfi called on party members to remain calm and focused, while refraining from premature celebrations.
“We urge every supporter listening to this address, on behalf of John Mahama, to make their way to their constituency collation center. It is your responsibility to protect your votes,” Mr. Gyamfi said.
He emphasized the importance of waiting for official results to be declared, warning against any form of early jubilation. “Our leader urges all of us to hold back on celebrating until the collation process is completed, and results are officially declared at the constituency level,” he stated.
The NDC has consistently highlighted the need for transparency and fairness in the electoral process, encouraging its supporters to monitor the collation closely to ensure the process remains credible.
Mr. Gyamfi concluded by reaffirming the party’s commitment to ensuring that every vote is counted accurately, reflecting the true will of the people in the final outcome.
