Beyoncé Expands Cécred With New Protection Collection for Braids, Wigs, and Twists

Beyoncé’s haircare brand Cécred has unveiled its latest innovation—the Protection Collection, a five-piece range designed specifically to support protective styles such as braids, twists, wigs, cornrows, and sew-ins.

Since its debut, Cécred has built a reputation for delivering results, with its Restoring Hair and Edge Oil trio already achieving cult status among fans. Now, the brand is turning its focus to protective hairstyles, combining scalp care with nourishment to ensure healthy hair underneath.

At the core of the new collection is PhytoFerment Technology, Cécred’s signature blend inspired by herbalism, formulated to strengthen strands and promote scalp health. The line also introduces Nocturne Spice, a warm fragrance with notes of pink pepper, vanilla, cardamom, tonka bean, and oud.

Inside the Protection Collection:

Scalp Refreshing Spray – Created to relieve irritation and buildup, this no-rinse spray offers a cooling effect that soothes itchiness without disrupting styles. It also preps braids and twists for easier removal with less breakage.

Detangling Spray – A high-slip formula enriched with honey, slippery elm, ceramides, and PhytoFerment to soften hair, reduce tangles, and protect fragile strands during takedown.

Detoxifying Shampoo – A deep-cleansing yet gentle wash that removes weeks of buildup while keeping hair color safe. Infused with blue-violet pigments, it also helps maintain vibrancy and prevent brassiness.

Oil Ritual – A blend of 21 nutrient-rich oils, including manuka and peppermint, designed to restore shine and strength. The formula can be warmed for a spa-like hot oil treatment.

Hair & Scalp Balm – A versatile multi-use product that starts as a cream and melts into oil. It hydrates dry scalps, smooths frizz, seals braids, tames flyaways, and enhances shine.
