President Akufo-Addo Commends Peaceful 2024 General Election

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed his satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the 2024 General Election.
The President made this remark after casting his ballot at the Rock of Ages Polling Station in the Abuakwa-South Constituency of the Eastern Region on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
In his post-voting address to the media, President Akufo-Addo said, “I have monitored all the reports from across the country, and everything seems to be going well. We thank God for that.”
The President encouraged all eligible voters to turn out in their numbers and participate in the electoral process, emphasizing the value of each vote. “Every vote counts in this election,” he stated.
He also appealed to Ghanaians to maintain peace and abide by the law throughout the exercise, underscoring the significance of a calm and successful election for the nation’s democracy.
