Nacee: Gospel Artistes Deserve Better Pay from Event Organizers

Gospel musician and renowned music producer Nana Kwaku Osei, popularly known as Nacee, has called attention to financial challenges facing gospel artistes.

Speaking during the 2024 Praise Achievement Awards ceremony in Accra, Nacee expressed disappointment over how event organizers undervalue gospel musicians by offering inadequate compensation for their performances.

According to him, this trend hampers the growth of the gospel music industry.

“We lack financial support because most gospel musicians attend events where organizers fail to pay them what they truly deserve. This forces us to struggle more than necessary,” Nacee told GhanaWeb.

He emphasized that better financial backing could significantly enhance the efforts of gospel artistes, allowing them to expand their ministry and impact.

“I believe with proper financial support, we can achieve much more,” he added.

The Praise Achievement Awards took place on November 24, 2024, at the Perez Dome in Accra, celebrating excellence in the gospel music fraternity.
