Ned Nwoko, husband to actress Regina Daniels and senator for Delta North, has corroborated her previous revelation about having multiple suitors before their marriage.
In October, Daniels disclosed that she had over 20 boyfriends prior to meeting Nwoko. Echoing her statement, Nwoko shared his perspective in a recent Instagram video posted by the actress, where he reflected on the caliber of individuals vying for her affection.
During a conversation with friends, Nwoko confirmed Daniels’ claims, revealing that her suitors included influential personalities such as pastors, oil magnates, and film producers. Despite their advances, Nwoko praised Daniels for upholding her values and credited her mother, Rita Daniels, for instilling discipline.
“She is such a gem. Just like she mentioned recently that she had 20 men, yes, she did,” Nwoko stated. “She told me there were so many suitors, including reverend pastors, oil magnates, and film producers. They showered her with attention and gifts, but she maintained her virtue. By the time we got married, she was still a virgin. I thank her mother for the upbringing that kept her grounded.”
Nwoko also reflected on his unconventional approach to proposing marriage. He bypassed traditional customs by addressing Daniels’ mother directly, a decision that initially faced resistance from her family. Despite the challenges, their union has continued to thrive, with both Nwoko and Daniels frequently expressing admiration for each other.
