Tems Breaks Records with Triple Nominations at the 67th Grammy Awards

Nigerian RnB star Tems has made history by securing three prestigious nominations at the 67th Grammy Awards.
With three nods in categories including Best African Music Performance, Best Global Album, and Best R&B Song, Tems is the most nominated Nigerian artist this year.
Her debut album, Born In The Wild, has earned a spot in the Best Global Album category, making Tems the first Nigerian female artist to receive a Grammy nomination for an album.
Tems also made history as the first African artist to be nominated in the R&B category, with her single Burning earning a nomination.
Further breaking barriers, she is the first African female lead artist to be nominated outside of the global categories, highlighting her growing influence in the global music scene.
With these three nominations, Tems now holds the record for the most Grammy nominations for any Nigerian female artist, bringing her total to six.
Her achievements place her as the second Nigerian artist with the most nominations in a single year, following Burna Boy’s historic four nominations at the 66th Grammy Awards.
