In response to a question about the boldest thing she’s ever done for love, Tiwa’s answer was refreshingly candid. “If I’m into someone, I’m really into them,” she admitted, laughing. “The craziest thing I’ve done? I once showed up at a guy’s house unannounced. I may not be as ‘savage’ as people think.”
Discussing her approach to her work, Tiwa highlighted the intensity that’s become her signature. “I’m a beast when it comes to my work,” she said. “If something needs to be done, I’m relentless. I’ll call you twenty times if necessary, and if there’s an obstacle, I’ll find a way around it.” She added with a smile, “That’s where my ‘savage’ side truly shines.”
The singer also spoke about what she calls her “phoenix era,” a time of personal reinvention after overcoming major challenges. “I’m in my phoenix era,” she explained, pointing to the phoenix tattoo on her neck. “I’ve been through the fire, and now I’m emerging stronger. This rebirth touches every part of my life—love, heartbreak, and personal growth. I’m setting boundaries and celebrating what I’ve accomplished.”
Tiwa also shared her aspirations for the future, hinting at new ventures beyond music. “There’s so much more I want to do. I’d love to act, start a skincare line, expand my NGO, and maybe even open a music school,” she revealed, underscoring her drive to create a lasting impact.
Aware of her role as a public figure, Tiwa acknowledged the responsibility of being a role model. “I’ve come to embrace it,” she said. “I’m human, so when I make mistakes, I address them openly. That’s part of being a role model—staying true to yourself.”
