Hip-pop Legend Busta Rhymes to Receive Global Icon Award at 2024 MTV EMAs
Legendary hip-hop artist Busta Rhymes will be honored with the prestigious Global Icon Award at the 2024 MTV EMAs, set to take place at the Manchester Co-Op Live arena. Along with accepting this award, Busta will electrify the MTV EMA stage with a performance featuring his biggest hits, including his recent viral sensation “Do The BusABus Pt.2,” which has sparked a dance craze worldwide.

Throughout his career, Busta has collaborated with industry giants including Dr. Dre, Janet Jackson, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Missy Elliott, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Dave Chappelle, Ozzy Osbourne, and Chris Rock. The 2024 MTV EMAs will air live on Sunday, November 10, at 9 pm GMT on MTV UK and Pluto TV, and at 10 pm on Channel 5. Starting November 12, it will also be available on demand via Paramount+.
In addition to Busta Rhymes, the night’s star-studded lineup includes Benson Boone, LE SSERAFIM, Peso Pluma, Pet Shop Boys (who will receive the MTV EMA Pop Pioneers Award), RAYE, Shawn Mendes, Teddy Swims, The Warning, and Tyla.
