430 Officers Commissioned into the Ghana Police Service

On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, the Ghana Police Academy celebrated a significant milestone with the graduation of 430 officers into the Senior Officer Corps of the Ghana Police Service. This event marks a historic achievement, as this cohort, known as Cadet Course 53, is the largest in the Academy’s history, consisting of 305 males and 125 females.
The graduation surpasses the previous record held by Cadet Course 52, which had 344 cadet officers. This increase reflects the growing commitment to enhancing the ranks of the police force with qualified personnel.
Among the graduates, Cadet Officer Achiburi Issah earned the distinction of being the overall Best Cadet Officer, showcasing exceptional performance throughout the training program.
The graduation ceremony was graced by the presence of the Vice President of Ghana, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who highlighted the importance of the Police Service in maintaining law and order in the country. The event not only celebrated the achievements of the new officers but also underscored the ongoing efforts to strengthen the Ghana Police Service in its mission to serve and protect the public.
