Stonebwoy’s Wife Covers Medical Bills for Amputated Fan

Dr. Louisa Satekla, wife of Ghanaian music star Stonebwoy, has generously paid the medical expenses for a devoted fan who recently had his hand amputated following a motor accident.
On Tuesday, October 8, 2024, Dr. Louisa visited the fan, Samiru Laryea, also known as Bhim Bwoy, at the Surgical and Plastic Unit of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. Laryea had been involved in a tragic accident on Thursday that led to the loss of his hand.
Speaking to Joy FM’s Kwame Dadzie, Dr. Louisa shared the motivation behind her kind gesture: “He’s a loyal fan who had an accident while going about his day, resulting in the amputation. We felt it was important to support him during this difficult time.”
In addition to covering his medical costs, Dr. Louisa donated packs of water, drinks, and toiletries to further assist him during his hospital stay.
Though Stonebwoy could not be present, he spoke to Laryea via phone, offering words of encouragement and promising to visit him soon.
The donation was made through the Livingstone Foundation, a charitable initiative spearheaded by Stonebwoy, which has consistently provided aid to those in need.
According to reports, Laryea, a professional loctician, had stopped to urinate after parking his motorbike at Korle Gorno, when another bike collided with him, causing the severe injury.
