Rita Ora Set to Host MTV Europe Music Awards

Rita Ora is gearing up to host the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) next month at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena.
The “Ask and You Shall Receive” singer is reportedly in advanced discussions to take on the role as host for the prestigious event, which will be held at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena in November.
A source shared with The Sun’s Bizarre column:
“Rita is thrilled. Despite juggling several projects at the moment, music remains her true passion. So, when the opportunity to host the EMAs came up, she didn’t hesitate to say yes. Talks between MTV and Rita’s new management team are still ongoing, with just a few details left to finalize.”
With the ceremony scheduled for November 10, time is tight, but the star is enthusiastic about the role.
This won’t be her first time hosting the EMAs. Rita previously took on the job when the show last took place in the UK at London’s Wembley Arena in 2017.
The 33-year-old artist has been busy working on multiple projects this past year, including the film He Bled Neon alongside Jack O’Connell. She also revealed that she has an “awkward” new album in the works.
“My upcoming album is a little awkward, a bit off, not as perfect. It’s not super-polished, and that’s what I like—challenging myself to evolve,” Rita said.
Teasing more about the record, she added that it will have a “darker” and “spicier” vibe. Speaking to Billboard, Rita shared, “I’m really excited about this album. I’m dedicating the rest of the year to working on it. Creatively, I’m in a space where things don’t feel perfect, and that’s what I’m channeling—something a bit edgier, darker, and more aggressive, as I explore this new, uncomfortable era.”
