Chris Brown Sells Out Africa’s Largest Stadium in Just 2 Hours

Grammy Award-winning artist Chris Brown has once again proven his star power, selling out the 95,000-capacity FNB Stadium in South Africa in just two hours. The concert, part of his ’11:11′ world tour, is scheduled for December 2024.

Tickets for the highly anticipated event went on sale on Friday, September 10, 2024, and were quickly snapped up by eager fans. The rapid sell-out reflects Brown’s global appeal and solidifies his place as one of the most popular musicians in the world.

The South African leg of the ’11:11′ tour follows a series of sold-out performances, including a recent show in São Paulo, Brazil. Known for his electrifying performances and genre-defying hits, Chris Brown continues to draw massive crowds wherever he performs.

In addition to his international success, Brown has shown a strong connection to African music. His latest album features a collaboration with Nigerian superstar Davido, building on their previous work together, including the hit “Under The Influence,” which was co-written by Afrobeats artist KDDO. Brown has also worked with other notable African artists like Wizkid, Lojay, and Fireboy, further solidifying his influence in the African music scene. His recognition by Nigeria’s prestigious Headies Awards highlights his impact on the continent’s mainstream music.

Nigerian sensation Ayra Starr, a Grammy-nominated artist, has been one of the opening acts on Brown’s ’11:11′ tour. Fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of other African stars who may join him on stage for the South African concert, adding even more excitement to an already monumental event.
