Yobe Photographer To Break Guinness World Record with 897 Pictures in 60 Minutes

Saidu Abdulrahman, a photographer based in Yobe, is set to make his mark in the Guinness World Records by capturing 897 photos in just one hour, surpassing the previous record of 500.

The record attempt took place on September 25, 2024, in Potiskum Local Government Area, witnessed by Yobe government officials, students, and supporters.

At just 28 years old, Abdulrahman dedicated 12 months to preparing for this challenge and is hopeful for formal recognition from the Guinness World Records.

“I snapped 897 pictures in one hour, exceeding our target of 600 despite facing several challenges,” he stated.

Abdulrahman’s achievement aims to elevate Yobe’s profile on the global stage.
