Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, better known as Davido, delivered a standout performance during a cocktail event marking United Bank for Africa’s (UBA) 75th anniversary. The celebration took place during the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
Davido electrified the audience with performances of his chart-topping tracks, including “Aye,” “Skelewu,” and “Risky,” as the crowd eagerly sang along to his infectious beats.
Key figures such as Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, and UBA Chairman, Tony Elumelu, were in attendance, alongside other dignitaries focused on shaping Africa’s future at the UNGA.
Ahead of his appearance, Davido tweeted about his excitement for his first UNGA experience, expressing hope for a memorable event.
