Nigerian superstar Wizkid has teased a highly anticipated new track titled “Piece of My Heart”, featuring American R&B singer Brent Faiyaz. The announcement, made via Wizkid’s Instagram, has fans eagerly awaiting the release, though no official date has been set.
Wizkid, who shot to stardom with his breakout hit *Holla at Your Boy* in 2010, continues to make waves in the global music scene. Over the years, he has earned multiple Grammy nominations and won in 2021 for his contribution to Beyoncé’s “Brown Skin Girl”.
In a surprising twist, Wizkid revealed earlier this year that his upcoming album, “Morayo”, will veer away from the Afrobeats genre that brought him international acclaim. “Morayo is the best album I’ve ever made. I am not an Afrobeats artist. Don’t call me that,” he declared. “If you like Afrobeats, don’t download my album. I’m not Afro-anything.”
