Sizzla Kalonji Receives Humanitarian Award at Caribbean Music Awards 2025

New York, August 28, 2025 — Jamaican reggae icon Sizzla Kalonji was honored with the Humanitarian Award at the Caribbean Music Awards 2025, in recognition of his philanthropic work and longstanding commitment to community development.

In his acceptance speech, Sizzla delivered a simple yet powerful message:

“Look around at people needing help, help them. That’s what humanity is about.”

The award acknowledged Sizzla’s decades of social impact, including his efforts through the Judgement Yard initiative, which provides educational support, mentorship, and safe spaces for young people in Kingston, Jamaica.
