J.Derobie Opens Up: “Fame Comes with Too Much Pressure”

Ghanaian artist J.Derobie has admitted that while fame has elevated his career, it has also brought unexpected challenges, making it his biggest regret.

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz, the singer shared how constant attention and scrutiny have made everyday life difficult.

“Something as simple as buying waakye has changed. People always want to pay for me or engage, but sometimes, I just want to do my own thing,” he revealed.

Despite these struggles, J.Derobie remains focused on his career goals. “I still believe in my dream of reaching the top. Winning a Grammy and achieving more in music is what keeps me going,” he said.

J.Derobie’s rise began when Mr Eazi signed him in 2020, setting him on a path to success. With multiple international collaborations and a widely streamed EP, he continues to make waves in the industry.
