President Mahama Returns After Diplomatic Missions in Germany and Ethiopia

President John Dramani Mahama arrived in Accra on Monday afternoon after attending the Munich Security Conference in Germany and the 38th African Union Heads of State and Government Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang led a delegation of government officials to welcome him at Kotoka International Airport. Among them were Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, National Security Advisor Prosper Douglas Kwaku Bani, Legal Advisor Marietta Brew Appiah-Oppong, Defence Minister Dr. Edward Kofi Omane Boamah, and Interior Minister Alhaji Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka.

The President’s participation in these high-level gatherings underscored Ghana’s commitment to global security, regional cooperation, and Africa’s collective progress.
