Omankrado Nana Yamoah II is a traditional Chief of Nkusukum Opem, multiple award-winning Ghanaian TV and radio broadcaster, blogger, event promoter, entertainment pundit, CEO of RG Network and May1 Ancients Foundation. His passion for media and entertainment, coupled with his relentless drive, has made him a household name in Ghana and beyond.

Early Beginnings and Education

Born on September 14, 1989, in Nkusukum Opem, Central Region, Omankrado’s love for storytelling and media started early. He attended Victory International School, Saltpond Roman Catholic Boys Primary/JSS, and Saltpond Methodist Senior High School (MEHISCO).

To refine his broadcasting skills, he pursued a First Class Upper Diploma in Broadcast Journalism at Focus World Institute (UK Group of Colleges), specializing in TV/Radio Presentation, Media Ethics, DJing, Marketing, Mass Communication and Public Relations.

Omankrado’s career spans over a decade, during which he worked with notable organizations such as:

Golden Star FM: Producer, Kantinka FM: Producer, Enyidado FM: Show Host (Lesson Tym), Great Oak Radio: Programs Director and Presenter, Markk Radio: General Manager and Presenter, Supreme Africa Radio: General Manager and Presenter, CMP TV Ghana: TV Show Host and PR Manager, ITV Ghana: TV Show Host and Producer, Landco Global Enterprise: Administrator and Software Manager and Agbenoir Resort South Africa & Ghana: General Manager.

Beyond broadcasting, Omankrado has nurtured the next generation of media professionals as a junior lecturer at institutions like First Class Media College, Positive Media College and Great Oak Professional Institute.
