Fans are eagerly anticipating the collaboration between the Nigerian superstar and Jamaican artist YG Marley. This upcoming track marks Davido’s initial release of the year, following numerous guest features, including remixes of Kizz Daniel’s “Twe Twe” and “Ogechi” by BoyPee, Hyce, and Brown Joel.
One of Davido’s latest contributions was to Angelique Kidjo’s “Joy,” which has been submitted for Grammy consideration in the Best African Music Performance category. Just last week, he joined forces with Jamaican artist Rvssian on Darkoo’s “Right Now.”
At a recent event, Davido previewed the new single, highlighted by a lively log drum beat, prompting enthusiastic cheers from the audience. This track is expected to extend his impressive streak of hit singles spanning over a decade.
Additionally, the award-winning artist has a forthcoming song with Nigerian sensation Omah Lay, which is anticipated to be released soon. During an appearance with American content creator Kai Cenat, Davido revealed that his next album is ready, teasing fans with promises of several exciting collaborations. He confidently stated that this upcoming album will be his best work yet.
