Burna Boy Unveils New Track at Sold-Out Los Angeles Concert

On October 23, 2024, Burna Boy delivered an electrifying performance at the sold-out Peacock Centre in Los Angeles, where he treated fans to a mix of his biggest hits.

The two-day event, branded as Headliners Only, saw Burna Boy join forces with American-Senegalese music legend Akon. One of the highlights of the night came when Burna Boy gave the enthusiastic crowd an exclusive preview of an unreleased track from his upcoming album.

This marks the second time Burna Boy has previewed new material from his highly anticipated album, set for release in 2025. Earlier this year, he teased another track titled “Empty Chairs,” further building excitement among his fans.

Burna Boy’s 2024 has been nothing short of remarkable. In February, he made history as the first African artist to perform at the main Grammy ceremony. At the 66th Grammy Awards, he also became the first Nigerian artist to earn a nomination as a lead artist outside the Global Music categories.

Despite releasing only one single in 2024, Higher, Burna Boy has remained dominant on the charts. The music video for the song took fans on an emotional journey back to his hometown, and it spent several weeks on top of the TurnTable Top 100 chart.

In addition to his solo work, Burna Boy has made notable guest appearances throughout the year. He propelled TiTom and Yuppe’s Twala Bam to chart success and also shone on Coldplay’s We Pray, featuring Little Simz.
