Nadia Buari Mourns Victims of East Legon Tragedy: ‘Too Painful to Forgive’

Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari has shared her deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences with the families of two young girls who tragically lost their lives in the recent East Legon accident.
Taking to Instagram, Nadia expressed her grief over the devastating loss, empathizing with the unimaginable pain the bereaved families are facing. In a moving post, she reflected on the abrupt and tragic end to the girls’ futures, acknowledging the difficulty in coming to terms with such an incident.
“I can’t believe this happened to these beautiful little girls. Their futures were cruelly cut short, and it’s so painful to accept,” she wrote. “May God keep their innocent souls in perfect peace.”
Nadia offered prayers for the grieving families, wishing them strength and divine comfort during this difficult time. She added, “The loss of any child anywhere is the loss of a future everywhere.”
As a mother herself, Nadia expressed how deeply she could relate to the pain of losing a child. She lamented that while mothers are naturally bound to their children, in this tragic situation, the children had been taken away too soon.
“It is too painful to remember and too painful to forgive,” she added, closing with a heartfelt message of grace, healing, and condolences to all those affected by the tragedy.
The tragic accident occurred on October 12, 2024, when a 16-year-old driving a Jaguar SUV collided with a Honda Acura, which carried the victims, Maame Dwomoh Boaten and Justine Agbenu.
The driver’s parents, Bishop Salifu Amoako and Mouha Amoako, along with a sales assistant, Linda Bempah, were arrested and charged with permitting an unlicensed person to drive.
A candlelight vigil was held on October 18, 2024, in memory of the young girls. Maame Dwomoh Boaten was laid to rest on October 19, while the final funeral rites for Justine Agbenu will take place on October 23 at Christ the King Church.
Nadia Buari’s emotional tribute resonates with the profound grief and pain felt by the entire community.
