After a narrow loss in the inaugural edition of Joy Prime’s family Christmas quiz competition, Quizmas, the Quarshie family made an extraordinary comeback to claim victory in the second edition.
Represented by Adelaide and Margarete Quarshie, the family outshone fierce competition from the Teks, Kuetuadu, and Afotey families to emerge as champions.
The event began with preliminary rounds featuring questions about Christmas traditions and celebrations. The winners from these rounds advanced to the finals. The Quarshie family secured their spot after defeating the Kuetuadu family, while the Teks family advanced by beating the Afotey family.
The final showdown between the Quarshies and the Teks was a nail-biter, with both families facing challenging and thought-provoking questions. Despite the intense competition, the Quarshies displayed remarkable perseverance and emerged victorious.
Speaking after their win, Margarete expressed the family’s joy and gratitude:
“We’re very happy that we won. We had the vim to win, and God has done it for us. Last season, we couldn’t make it, but this time, our prayers have been answered.”
Adelaide echoed the sentiment, commending Joy Prime for creating an opportunity for families to bond during the festive season:

As champions, the Quarshie family received fully-stocked hampers and a luxurious weekend stay at a hotel. The other participating families were also rewarded with hampers, ensuring everyone walked away with something special.
